TCB is a Japanese brand inspired by fits and materials from the past and they strive to reproduce those iconic garments as closely as possible.

These jeans are part of TCB's collaboration with Viktor Fredbäck! We are extra happy to be able to present these garments to you as Viktor is a dear friend to us here at Second Sunrise.

Viktor Fredbäck is a great collector of vintage denim and has over 400 pairs of jeans in his collection. Together with Second Sunrise store owner Douglas, Viktor has been in the old abandoned gold mines in the Nevada desert, digging for denim used by the miners. Can you believe that they found parts of jeans that's over 100 years old in there!

It's said to be the 150th anniversary of 501 jeans this year and Inue the founder of TCB been asking himself if it's better for TCB as a brand to make a Levis to celebrate this. While thinking about what to do, he happened to watch the video with Viktor Fredback again from the last collab and in the video he said, "I have another super rare vintage item discovered in an old mine by myself". Levis had the patent of the riveted pants during 1873 ~ 1890 so non Levis jeans from the time didn't have the rivets but they had some unique reinforcement stitches called dart stitch. And its tag says "Good Luck."

Here comes TCB's reproduction of the jacket made in the same era as the jeans.

The patch is made to replicate vintage garments. As you wear it it will probably wear of, just as it did back in the days.

Dan is 188 cm tall with a weigh of 82 kilos and wears a size 42.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. The thigh measurements are taken 10 centimeters down from the crotch straight across the pant leg.
