The Sugar Cane Indigo Stripe Work Coat finds it's inspiration in classic American workwear jackets from the early 20'th century. 

The fabric is a indigo striped cotton twill woven in the same traditional way as fabrics from the very early days of American workwear. 

The jacket has one slanted pocket on the chest to make it easier to access with your right hand when worn. You will also find a compartment for a pen. There are also three more front pockets, and an inner pocket. In the lower left pocket you will also find a so-called "union ticket". These tickets served as a label used by different clothing manufactures to prove that these garments were made according to the governmental standards back in the days. Today, Union tickets are added as a nice hommage to the American workwear culture.

The jacket is unsanforized and is cut so that the sizing match the labeling after an initial cold soak/line dry. Make sure to go one size up from your usual size and expect a 10% shrinkage.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured on the underarm from the armpit to the end of the cuff.
